I'm Emily

I’m a Denver-based boudoir photographer with a deep love for creativity, connection, and helping women see themselves in a whole new way. I’ve been specializing in boudoir since 2017 and have had the honor of photographing over 600 incredible women so far.

My journey actually began in 2015 in the wedding world—and while I truly loved it, I found myself drawn more and more to the intimacy and empowerment that boudoir offers. These days, bridal boudoir holds such a special place in my heart. It’s the perfect blend of romance, emotion, and storytelling… and I still get to be part of that wedding magic in a more personal way.

I was born in Iowa, but life has taken me all over—I’ve lived in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Arizona, and California along the way.

My husband, Ry, and I have the sweetest 11-year-old daughter—equal parts brilliant and goofy (she definitely gets that from me). She’s got the most beautiful curly blonde hair and keeps life fun.

When I’m not behind the camera or diving into one of my many creative hobbies, you can usually find me enjoying a good pizza and a Netflix binge. Tell me—have you watched anything amazing lately?

Will my images be shared online?

Absolutely not without your full, written consent. Your privacy is incredibly important to me, and you are always in complete control of what is shared (if anything at all).

What happens after my session?

You’ll come back for a private image reveal where you’ll see your photos for the first time and choose your favorites. This is where you can use your included credit toward images or keepsakes you love.

Do I have to buy anything?

There’s no obligation to purchase anything beyond what’s included, but most clients do fall in love with more images once they see them. Everything is always your choice.

I’m really nervous… is that normal?

Completely normal. Almost every client walks in feeling a little nervous—and leaves saying it was one of the most empowering things they’ve ever done. You won’t be doing this alone.

will you help me pose?

Yes—100%. You don’t need any experience at all. I’ll guide you through every pose and expression so you always feel comfortable and confident.

What should I wear?

You’ll have access to a curated client closet, and I’ll also help you plan pieces that feel like you. Whether that’s soft and romantic, bold and confident, or something in between—we’ll create a look you love. I have a fun guide to help you choose as well. 

Do you offer hair and makeup?

Professional hair and makeup can be added to your experience for a fully polished, pampered feel—but it’s always optional. Some clients love being glammed up, while others feel most like themselves doing their own.
